D8,Android and Chrome OS: Steve Ballmer doesn’t get it, Ray Ozzie certainly does

Watch the Engadget video where Steve Ballmer talks “on Google”.  Listen to Ballmer say he doesn’t get why Google have Chrome OS and Android.

The listen to Ray Ozzie explain it for him.  Ballmer needs to listen to Ozzie because he is about to get steam rolled in the mobile space by Apple and Google (again).

Ballmer has said this before and it’s more than a little hypocritical.  The talk of Silverlight is a smokescreen, Microsoft have in the wild currently Windows 7, Windows XP, Kin, Windows Mobile, Windows Phone 7, Danger’s sidekick OS and a slew of embedded OS to name but a few.

I’m not seeing much consistency here guys.
