Amazon UK Kindle eBook store finally opens

As you can see from my round up of the Android eBook readers/stores here and here, I’ve been waiting for the UK eBook stores to open so that we (hopefully) have a better choice of books and prices in our native Sterling.
Finally Amazon have deemed us worthy of a UK Kindle Store, probably due to the impending release of the Kindle hardware in the UK.
There are apparently 400,000 books online and 170 papers and magazines that you can subscribe to,  so have at it!

  1. The store is here, but still I wish the device would go away. It looks like something from the 90’s.
