Plenoptic lenses – I don’t want a bad word to ever be said about Adobe again

I’ve always been obsessed with the idea of a consumer camera that could take a 360 degree picturebut  retaining depth information so that after taking an image you could focus on any part, or even use it to build a 3D model with photogeometry.

I think Adobe have just built the most important element, plenoptic lenses, giving the user the ability to set dynamically the depth of field for focus AFTER you take the shot.
