Receive notifications to your desktop from any Android phone

11Sep10

I’ve been playing with Android Notifier Desktop, a multiplatform client for receiving Android notifications from your phone to your Mac/PC/Linux machine. The Android app can be found in the market under Remote Notifier:

It requires very little setup and you can choose to use Bluetooth or WiFi to send the notification to your machine. I opted for direct IP notification over WiFi but it also allows broadcast to all machines on your network if you’re too lazy to find the IP of your laptop.

The desktop client can be found here, there’s a windows installer, a .deb packages for easy Linux install and it also supports Growl for Macs.
